    The laboratory focuses on molecular mechanisms governing germline formation, male-female gametophyte interaction, fertilization and early embryogenesis in model plants and symbiotic nitrogen fixation in legumes using a combined cytological and genetic approach.

Main research areas：
1.Molecular mechanisms governing the interaction between the male and female gametophytes, fertilization and early embryogenesis in flowering plants.
2.Intercellular interactions between Rhizobium and host cell in soybean root nodule.
